The “Haritima Academy” School is an co-educational English medium school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi managed by the Haritima-Society for Education, Environment and Rural Development (New Delhi), committed to impart value based quality education to cater to the needs of the modern society in global perspective. The education system is going under sea change due to fast changing global economic environment. The “Haritima Academy” School envisages the greater role of skill blended with technology and better communication skill for the development of fine quality of human being competent enough to achieve the sustainable progress. The policy of the School is not to push the children too hard or over-burden them with work. For better understanding of the stress upon children, we lay emphasis on interaction through orientation programmes and parent-teacher meeting.
The curriculum is designed as per National Education Policy and National Curriculum Framework 2020 to organise and secure progressive development with revision and consolidation at different stages as per CBSE. There will be an extra emphasis on computer related learning and its application to more practical based education.
The personality development and leadership quality is an essential component for the progress and development of the human being. A positive personality is a basic requirement to take the right decision at the right time – necessary for the sustainable human progress. Integrated personality blended with professional attitude and behaviour makes the working environment rather conductive which is essential for efficiency and better public relations. Leadership quality and personality development is an integral part of academic activities at the School.
There will be an additional emphasis on cultural and co-curricular activities to develop the natural talents of children. Annual days and other co-curricular activities shall be organised in the School premises. All classes and students shall participate in grand stage shows. Greater participation is always encouraged and meritorious students will be given awards. The Academy organizes an extensive programme of excursion to places of interest in NCR.
Parents are requested to meet respective class teachers and subject teachers between 8:30 to 10:30 hrs on the last working day of every month. They should attend meeting regularly and must meet the Teachers and the Principal to know the progress of their wards.
. DISCIPLINE The student will have to strictly observe the rules and regulations that the School may frame from time to time. The School reserves the rights to rusticate a student if her/his behaviour or conduct is found unsatisfactory. Any damage to the equipment, furniture and property etc. caused by the student may attract fine and in exceptional cases it may even lead to the expulsion from the School. ROLE OF PARENTS Active participation and cooperation of parents is sought in all matters pertaining to the physical, emotional, moral and spiritual development of the students. Parents are expected to play an important role in ensuring optimum efficiency of their wards in terms of learning and experience. They are expected to visit School and meet the respective teachers to keep themselves updated on the performance and well being of their children. .
